Jasna Žmak

Born in Pula in 1984. Graduated from the Department of Dramaturgy of the Academy of Dramtic Art in Zagreb, where she is, since 2012, employed as a lecturer. In 2018 she defended her PhD at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities in Zagreb, with the title Lecture Performance as GenreAuthor of two performance texts: Solitaries and The other at he same time, both directed and choreographed by Matija Ferlin. As dramaturg, in theatre, she collaborated with Borut Šeparović (Timbuktu, 2008.; 55+, 2012.), Oliver Frljić (Buđenje proljeća, 2010.; Leksikon YU mitologije, 2011.), Matija Ferlin (Mi smo kraljevi a ne ljudi, 2015.), Maja Pelević i Olga Dimitrijević (Sloboda je najskuplja kapitalistička reč, 2016.), and on film with Ana Opalić and Noah Pintarić. As screenwriter, she collaborated with directors Igor Bezinović, Radislav Jovanov Gonzo, Ivana Škrabalo, Ivan Faktor and Goran Škofić. She published two performance texts, one book of prose (My you, Profil, 2015), several short stories and critical essays. As mentor, she was engaged in several non-institutionalized educational projects.
